Turtix
What is Turtix?
Turtix is a free casual video game distributed via the MyPlayCity installer (which will modify the user's browser homepage and default search provider to myplaycity.com within Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome). While the game itself is free to download, uninstalling it will not restore the changes made to the user's browser, although this can be done manually. The game also has some advertising popups when laoding as well as pops open a web page with ads after being played.
Overview
A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The main program executable is Turtix.exe. The software installer includes 11 files.

How do I remove Turtix?
You can uninstall Turtix from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.

- Windows XP: Click Add or Remove Programs.
- When you find the program Turtix, click it, and then do one of the following:

- Windows XP: Click the Remove or Change/Remove tab (to the right of the program).
- Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove Turtix.
