Stickies 7.1e

What is Stickies?  (from Zhorn Software)

Stickies is a PC utility I wrote to try to cut down on the number of yellow notes I was leaving stuck to my monitor. It is a computerised version of those notes.

Overview

Stickies 7.1e is a program developed by Zhorn Software. Upon installation and setup, it defines an auto-start registry entry which makes this program run on each Windows boot for all user logins. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The programs's main executable is stickies.exe and has been seen to consume an average CPU of less than one percent, and utilizes about 5.31 MB of memory. It also adds an icon to the Windows notifications area in order to provide access to the program. The software installer includes 17 files and is usually about 1.59 MB (1,668,207 bytes). In comparison to the total number of users, most PCs are running the OS Windows 7 (SP1) as well as Windows 10. While about 52% of users of Stickies come from the United States, it is also popular in United Kingdom and Germany.

Had it installed for some time, slows down login very slightly, but worth it. Well behaved programme, though it has been know to lose it's init file - fortunately, it automatically backs itself up making recovery a doddle.
