Splashtop Connect for IE is a program developed by Splashtop. The most used version is, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. Upon installation and setup, it defines an auto-start registry entry which makes this program run on each Windows boot for all user logins. It adds a Browser Helper Object (BHO) to Internet Explorer. The main program executable is STCAgent.exe. The software installer includes 11 files and is usually about 8.1 MB (8,492,584 bytes). In comparison to the total number of users, most PCs are running the OS Windows 7 (SP1) as well as Windows 10. While about 25% of users of Splashtop Connect for IE come from the United States, it is also popular in Germany and Egypt.

I came here in order to know "why should I remove" Splashtop Connect, but after reading all the technical data related to it, I find this isn't enough for clearly know if its removal is necessary or not. Your page is very interesting and well done but, as a suggestion, try to explain more about pros and cons in order to give the common user a better understanding of the issue and the ability to make the correct decision by themselves.
