What is Sleeping Dogs?
Sleeping Dogs is a open world action-adventure video game developed by United Front Games in conjunction with Square Enix London Studios and published by Square Enix. Sleeping Dogs takes place in Hong Kong and focuses on an undercover operation to infiltrate the Triads. The core gameplay of Sleeping Dogs consists of giving the player an open world environment in which to move around freely. Sleeping Dogs is played as an over-the-shoulder, third-person perspective action-adventure game with role-playing elements.
Overview
Upon installation and setup, it defines an auto-start registry entry which makes this program run on each Windows boot for all user logins. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The main program executable is HKShip.exe. The software installer includes 36 files and is usually about 10.16 MB (10,656,655 bytes).

How do I remove Sleeping Dogs?
