Open source and enterprise-ready professional software for the R community. RStudio is the premier integrated development environment for R. It is available in open source and commercial editions and runs on the desktop (Windows, Mac, and Linux) or over the web with RStudio Server.

R-Studio 5.2 is a program developed by R-Tools Technology. The most used version is 5.2.130709, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The main program executable is r-studio.exe. The software installer includes 9 files and is usually about 50.46 MB (52,915,326 bytes). rupdate.exe is the automatic update component of the software designed to download and apply new updates should new versions be released. In comparison to the total number of users, most PCs are running the OS Windows 7 (SP1) as well as Windows 10.
