PS Software
Overview
PS Software is a software program developed by D-Link. During setup, the program registers itself to launch on boot through a Windows Schedule Task in order to automatically start-up. The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The setup package generally installs about 5 files and is usually about 1.03 MB (1,082,507 bytes). Relative to the overall usage of users who have this installed on their PCs, most are running Windows 7 (SP1) and Windows 10. While about 22% of users of PS Software come from the United States, it is also popular in Indonesia and Germany.
