What is MyWordTool?
This toolbar/web browser extension from NETBUS, INC. is typically installed as an optional offer, users generally have this bundled with 3rd party software. During setup, this toolbar will modify the home page and new tab pages to an affiliate search portal using a primary search engine in order to collect shared search revenue. It will also modify the default search provider as well.
In addition it will injects ads in the browser. This includes inserting into web pages or displaying ads over parts of existing web page advertisements, banners, coupons or text links that would not otherwise appear. It will communicate with the adware's servers to check for new offers and the placement of offers as well as monitoring and recording the domain name of each page the user views, the advertisements that appear on these pages and the ads the user clicks on. In addition the app may display alerts and popups for updating or installing new applications many of which are ad-supported browser extensions.

How do I remove MyWordTool?
