MySearchs

What is MySearchs?

Pay-By-Ads from Montiera is a web browser search injector and hijacker which also includes an installer which bundles legitimate and open-sourced programs with offers for additional third party applications that may be unwanted by the user. Such third party programs are typically installed onto users' PC by default, but may include an option to opt-out during or after the installation process.

Once running the toolbar/extension communicates with a remote web server using the DNS toolbarservices.com and reports.montiera.com in order to track various aspects of a user's browsing behaviors as well as to update the toolbar's components.
