MP3Rocket Toolbar is an Ask.com (Ask Partner Network) Toolbar that will provide limited web browser functionality but will modify the user's home and search pages and providers to an Ask.com managed partner search engine.

The Ask Toolbar is a free browser add-on that allows you to search the Web using the Ask.com search engine directly from the browser.

Overview

The most common release is 12.10.2.4040, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. During setup, the program creates a startup registration point in Windows in order to automatically start when any user boots the PC. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The primary executable is named tbnotifier.exe. A majority of users end up uninstalling this less than a week of it being installed. The setup package generally installs about 13 files.

How do I remove MP3Rocket Toolbar?
