LaCie Desktop Manager unlocks the full potential of your LaCie hard drive. It will allow you to see advanced information on your drive and to configure Eco Mode. LaCie Desktop Manager is not compatible with all LaCie devices. Only compatible LaCie devices will appear in LaCie Desktop Manager.

LaCie Desktop Manager 1.4.1.84 is a software program developed by LaCie. It adds registry entry for the current user which will allow the program to automatically start each time it is rebooted. Upon being installed, the software adds a Windows Service which is designed to run continuously in the background. Manually stopping the service has been seen to cause the program to stop functing properly. It adds a background controller service that is set to automatically run. Delaying the start of this service is possible through the service manager. The primary executable is named laciedesktopmanager.exe. The setup package generally installs about 15 files and is usually about 12.79 MB (13,406,937 bytes). Relative to the overall usage of users who have this installed on their PCs, most are running Windows 7 (SP1) and Windows 10.
