What is JDownloader?
JDownloader is a download manager, written in Java, which allows the automatic downloading of files and split files from one-click hosting sites such as RapidShare. JDownloader supports the use of premium accounts. JDownloader supports the RapidShare "waiting time" and CAPTCHA recognition, enabling batch downloads without user input.

Overview
Upon installation, it defines an auto-start registry entry which allows the program run on each boot for the user which installed it. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The main program executable is jdownloaderd3d.exe. A vast majority of those who have this installed end up removing it just after a couple weeks. The software installer includes 8 files.
