Remove Hotkey_Driver by Chicony Electronics

This is the Windows driver for the HotKey application. A hot key is a combination of keys or a single key on a keyboard that, when pressed at one time, performs a task (such as starting an application, launching a web browser, etc.) more quickly than by using a mouse or stepping through a series of menu items. A hot key control is a window that enables the user to enter a combination of keystrokes to be used as a hot key.

During setup, the program registers itself to launch on boot through a Windows Schedule Task in order to automatically start-up. The primary executable is named HotKeyDriver.exe. The setup package generally installs about 6 files and is usually about 5.11 MB (5,354,896 bytes).

• Windows XP: Click Add or Remove Programs.
2. When you find the program Hotkey_Driver, click it, and then do one of the following:
• Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall.
• Windows XP: Click the Remove or Change/Remove tab (to the right of the program).
3. Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove Hotkey_Driver.
