Overview

HitmanPro.Alert is a program developed by SurfRight. The most used version is 2.6.5.77, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. Upon installation, it defines an auto-start registry entry which allows the program run on each boot for the user which installed it. It adds a background controller service that is set to automatically run. Delaying the start of this service is possible through the service manager. The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The main program executable is hmpalert.exe. The software installer includes 6 files and is usually about 1.68 MB (1,759,168 bytes). In comparison to the total number of users, most PCs are running the OS Windows 7 (SP1) as well as Windows 10. I have 2 Q. -in memory I see that , hmpalert uses 139,192K; is this normal or too much; running windowsXP-SP3? -I do run 2.0.10.45 , but see that a newer version is available. should I upgade??
