What is Glary Utilities 3?

Glary Utilities is a program that contains system tools and utilities to fix, speed up and maintain PCs. The disk cleaner removes junk data from the disks and recovers disk space. The startup manager manages programs which run automatically on startup. Tracks Eraser erases all the traces, evidences, cookies, Internet history and more.


Upon installation, it defines an auto-start registry entry which allows the program run on each boot for the user which installed it. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). When installed, it will add a context menu handler to the Windows shell in order to provide quick access to the program. The main program executable is integrator.exe. CheckUpdate.dll is the automatic update component of the software designed to download and apply new updates should new versions be released.

If you think Glary Initialize task it's not a "call home" routine, keep it installed. If you care about privacy, uninstall it.
