1+ year user here. This is definitely an indispensable program for anyone who values their privacy, and eyes. I have set it to remove social media buttons and widgets too, because to me they are useless and annoying. When used along with an Ad-Blocker, pages look so much cleaner and clutter-free. Of course, if you find that some elements of a page aren't working, it's super easy to go to the top right corner and quickly unblock individual trackers and widgets, or just pause it and reload the page. Some people have voiced their concerns over data collection from Ghostery, but sending them information is optional, and disabled by default! Just don't enable it and you'll be fine.

I have been running it for a week. It is an eye opener on how much other data is being gathered in background and being sent out with these background aps - Google Analytics seems most pervasive. Seems to have some problems with On-line banking software if you block certain background aps. Seemed to slow down eBay when I blocked everything - as expected. In general, seems worth having. You can unblock as needed. This software can only get better - until you block NSA. That's when the Fit hits the Shan.
