What is GIMP?
GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) is an image retouching and editing tool. GIMP has tools used for image retouching and editing, free-form drawing, resizing, cropping, photo-montages, converting between different image formats, and more specialised tasks. Animated images such as GIF and MPEG files can be created using an animation plugin.

Overview
A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The primary executable is named gimp-2.8.exe. The setup package generally installs about 129 files and is usually about 97.29 MB (102,017,868 bytes). The program uses the GLib GNOME library.
