FrostWire is a free, open source BitTorrent client, first released as a fork of LimeWire. Gnutella support was dropped entirely, and now FrostWire only uses the BitTorrent network. You can now use FrostWire to send large files or entire folders to Colleagues, Friends and family.

Overview

FrostWire 5.5.2 is a software program developed by FrostWire Team. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The programs's main executable is FrostWire.exe and has been seen to consume an average CPU of less than one percent, and utilizes about 408.45 MB of memory. It also includes a system tray icon that is displayed in the notifications area while the program is running. How do I remove FrostWire?

You can uninstall FrostWire from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
