What is FormatFactory?

FormatFactory is an ad-supported freeware multimedia converter that can convert video, audio, and picture files. It is also capable of ripping DVDs and CDs to other file formats, as well as creating .iso images. It can also join multiple video files together into one. FormatFactory supports 3gp, mpg, mkv, flv, swf, mp4, vob, mov, wav, aac, jpg and other audio, video and image formats.

A very easy to use converter with plenty of format variation. Only draw back is it cannot burn to disc, which means you have to keep AVC Converter
