What is Floating Point? (from Suspicious Developments)
Floating Point is a free, peaceful game about using a grappling hook to swing yourself gracefully through randomly generated spaces. In the air, you're fighting gravity. When you splash down beneath the water, you're fighting your own buoyancy to swing yourself further into the depths.
Overview
Floating Point is a software program developed by Suspicious Developments. During setup, the program creates a startup registration point in Windows in order to automatically start when any user boots the PC. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The primary executable is named Floating Point.exe. The setup package generally installs about 44 files and is usually about 26.38 MB (27,662,499 bytes). Relative to the overall usage of users who have this installed on their PCs, most are running Windows 10 and Windows 7 (SP1). While about 62% of users of Floating Point come from the United States, it is also popular in United Kingdom and Canada.
