You need nothing else. Been using this little free app pretty much since the beginning of it. I have done all manner of neat little things with it with all the ease, simplicity and grace that few other photo programmes can take a candle to. Is it sophisticated? Heck no. It is PhotoShop? Heck no. As a straightforward, no fuss, no muss, no bother what are you waiting for? You can send stuff by email, turn it into a PDF, Print it, Convert it, Change from JPEG to PNG. Resize. Adjust your piccys to whatever you want. Scan. Capture all sorts of things that you need. You can use shortcuts, or the programme itself to do everything. You want to create special effects? No problem. You want to frame your piccys? No problem. You want to make them look old? No problem. It is limited? Yes. Of course. It's a tiny little app that sits in your taskbar always ready, or floats on the screen no matter where you are. A littte genie at your beck and call. I love it. No adware. No spyware. No bundling. Probably can run it from a USB Flash Drive - haven't tried that. What do you want for free? As in "no charge". FastStone, can't thank you enough. It is what it is. Right out of the box. An excellent free program for viewing uploaded photos from any digital camera. Not only does it offer a quality of picture far above the default Windows viewer, it also allows you to modify various aspects of a photo, such as light, colour saturation, etc.. You can easily undo any alterations if you don't like the effect created. You can also rename the photo.
