FantastiGames Toolbar
What is FantastiGames Toolbar?
Typically, Fantastigames Toolbar gets inside the system together with free gaming software. As most of the users fail to study the installation agreement, they don’t get information about the installation of the toolbar. Once it gets inside, Fantastigames Toolbar changes browser start page to fantastigames.com and may start appearing in every new tab. When searching the web, you will also be made to enter Fantastigames or similar domain, which has nothing to do with the one you were looking for.
Overview
The most used version is 4.1.0.3110, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. Upon installation and setup, it defines an auto-start registry entry which makes this program run on each Windows boot for all user logins. The program adds a toolbar to Microsoft Internet Explorer. The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The main program executable is fantastigamesdtx.dll. A vast majority of those who have this installed end up removing it just after a couple weeks. The software installer includes 23 files and is usually about 3.42 MB (3,587,599 bytes).
