DraftSight
What is DraftSight?
DraftSight is a 2D CAD product for engineers, architects, designers, draftspeople, students and educators and lets users create, edit and view DWG (DWG files contain the binary data for CAD design and it is the drawing format for many CAD programs) and DXF files. DraftSight allows users to access legacy DWG/DXF files, regardless of which CAD software was originally used to create them. Dassault Systèmes hosts an open community for DraftSight users to ask questions, express opinions, collaborate, solve problems and share ideas. The Draftsight community have an access to a CAD Library that allows their instant access to 2D drawings.

How do I remove DraftSight?
You can uninstall DraftSight from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
- On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
- Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall a Program.
- Windows XP: Click Add or Remove Programs.
- When you find the program DraftSight, click it, and then do one of the following:
- Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall.
- Windows XP: Click the Remove or Change/Remove tab (to the right of the program).
- Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove DraftSight.
