What is ClipGrab?

ClipGrab bundles a branded version of the Conduit Toolbar, which delivers search based advertising and results. During installation the user is presented in some cases with the option to install the toolbar. Once accepted, the packaged executable, ConduitInstaller.exe, will download and install the necessary components for the Conduit Toolbar.

Overview

The program adds a toolbar to Microsoft Internet Explorer. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software installer includes 21 files and is usually about 52.36 MB (54,901,928 bytes). The program is built using the Nokia Qt cross-platforms native C++ framework.
ClipGrab has been seen bundling various 3rd party software during the installation process. Make sure to check for and remove unused programs.
