What is Charter Browser Updater?
As part of the installation process the publisher may offer changes to your Internet Browser settings. These changes if approved by you can be reconfigured by you at any time from the options dialog available on your Internet Browser. Such changes may include the following:

Overview
Upon installation and setup, it defines an auto-start registry entry which makes this program run on each Windows boot for all user logins. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The main program executable is javaws.exe. The software installer includes 42 files and is usually about 22.19 MB (23,266,292 bytes).

How do I remove Charter Browser Updater?
