BrowserProtector

What is BrowserProtector?

BrowserProtector is a 50OnRed adware application that is designed to set the user's web browser home page and search engine to a partner site and protect the settings from 3rd party adware (or legitimate software) from resetting or changing it. In addition the core feature of the software is to inject partner/affiliate coupon offers in the web pages based on the context of the site the end user is viewing. "Whenever we have a coupon(s) available for the site you're browsing, you will see the BrowserProtector tag on the top right corner of your browser window. This tag will also tell you the number of coupons available for the site you are on."
