What is Brother MFL-Pro Suite MFC-260C?
This is the software that allows a Windows PC to recognize and print to the Brother multi-function device. The MFC Software Suite includes various software including the core printer and scanner drivers, the Control Center as well as an OCR application for converting an image into text and it is integrated into PaperPort. Overview
During setup, the program creates a startup registration point in Windows in order to automatically start when any user boots the PC. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The setup package generally installs about 18 files and is usually about 3.79 MB (3,976,778 bytes).
