Blizzard Entertainment is a video game developer & publisher that originally concentrated primarily on the creation of game ports for other studios before beginning development of their own program with the development of games like Rock n' Roll Racing & The Lost Vikings. The company became Blizzard Entertainment Inc before being acquired by distributor Davidson & Associates & later by Vivendi. Blizzard shipped their breakthrough hit Warcraft: Orcs & Humans. Blizzard went on to generate several successful video games, including the Warcraft sequels, StarCraft, & Diablo series, & the MMORPG World of Warcraft. Their most recent projects include World of Warcraft's fourth expansion, Mists of Pandaria, the first expansion of StarCraft II, Heart of the Swarm, & the recently released Diablo III. Blizzard has main franchises in the gambling industry: Warcraft, Diablo, & StarCraft.
