What is Age of Empires III - The WarChiefs?
Age of Empires III: The WarChiefs is the first official expansion pack for the real-time strategy game Age of Empires III. There are no major changes to the mechanics to Age of Empires 3 - players are still expected to gather resources, build armies and send them to attack opponents. Instead, there are a number of new concepts introduced, whilst existing concepts have been expanded. On some maps, Copper and tin mines have been added, but these generally do not produce as much coin as the gold and silver mines. Sometimes the copper mines can produce 2000 coin, the same as silver, whereas gold mines produce 5000 coin.
Overview
During setup, the program creates a startup registration point in Windows in order to automatically start when any user boots the PC. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The primary executable is named age3x.exe. The setup package generally installs about 114 files and is usually about 800.01 KB (819,212 bytes).
