What is AVGRewards?

AVG Rewards is a potentially unwanted feature of the AVG Safeguard toolbar and cannot be uninstalled separately. It will display popup advertisements in the browser with coupon offers based on the web pages the user visits. The Rewards Coupon Tab is only viewable when visiting a merchant site participating in the Rewards coupon program. It is often bundled with various AVG products including the AVG anti-virus through an 'offer'.

How do I remove AVGRewards?

  3. Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove AVGRewards.
  4. If for some reason uninstallation fails, please install Microsoft's uninstall fixer utility which will help fix problems with programs that can't be uninstalled at support.microsoft.com.

Every time I use fire fox Chrome for various websites I get this AVG rewards box that pops up and you cannot get rid of it. It’s very annoying.
