What is Dell LED Control Service?
The Dell LED Control Service is a background service application that uses the Dell LED Control API to turn ON the Activity LED in the lid of Latitude K-12 systems when wired or wireless internet connectivity is reported by the operating system. When there is no internet connectivity, the service application turns OFF the Activity LED.
Overview
The most used version is 1.0.2, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. It adds a background controller service that is set to automatically run. Delaying the start of this service is possible through the service manager. The main program executable is DellLedSvc.exe. The software installer includes 2 files.
