Overview

The most common release is 14.2.0.1, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. During setup, the program creates a startup registration point in Windows in order to automatically start when any user boots the PC. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The primary executable is named vprot.exe. The setup package generally installs about 22 files and is usually about 24.18 MB (25,358,060 bytes).

2 of my AntiVirus software items said it was a virus. If you do download it and your antivirus says it is a virus. REMOVE IT. IT IS TELLLING THE TRUTH.

While downloading this toolbar, my antivirus detected a virus. I just thought it was a conflict and continued. I do not recommend this product to anyone. If you should decide to download it, then listen to your anti virus as it is telling you the truth.
