This adware uses the company's DownloadAdmin/WebInstall installer that bundles 3rd party adware and injects advertising in the user's Internet browser by running as an extension and/or add-on in the form of search-related ads, banner and video ads, and text-links and some popup/popunder ads. It also modifies the browser's search provider.

The primary executable is named InstTracker.exe. A majority of users end up uninstalling this less than a week of it being installed. The setup package generally installs about 5 files and is usually about 2.85 MB (2,992,433 bytes).

1. On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
