Once installed, it will present a See Similar icon next to product images on thousands of online stores in the US, UK, Germany, France or Australia. When one clicks on the See Similar icon, WindowShopper/SimilarProducts opens up and displays deals and visually similar products from hundreds of stores. Click on a result and you are taken to the store where you can learn more about or purchase the item."

It adds a Browser Helper Object (BHO) to Internet Explorer. The main program executable is Superfish.dll. A vast majority of those who have this installed end up removing it just after a couple weeks. The software installer includes 3 files and is usually about 1.3 MB (1,364,472 bytes).

• Windows XP: Click Add or Remove Programs.
2. When you find the program SimilarProducts, click it, and then do one of the following:
• Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall.
• Windows XP: Click the Remove or Change/Remove tab (to the right of the program).
3. Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove SimilarProducts.
4. If for some reason uninstallation fails, please install Microsoft's uninstall fixer utility which will help fix problems with programs that can't be uninstalled at support.microsoft.com.
