SBC Yahoo! Messenger
Overview
SBC Yahoo! Messenger is a program developed by Yahoo!. It adds an extension to the user's Internet Explorer web browser. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The software installer includes 31 files and is usually about 6.47 MB (6,787,160 bytes). yupdater.exe is the automatic update component of the software designed to download and apply new updates should new versions be released. In comparison to the total number of users, most PCs are running the OS Windows XP as well as Windows XP. The distribution of this has mostly been seen in the United States.

How do I remove SBC Yahoo! Messenger?

- The changes will take effect the next time you open IE.
