Overview
Process Explorer is a software program developed by Sysinternals - www.sysinternals.com. The most common release is 16.02, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. During setup, the program registers itself to launch on boot through a Windows Schedule Task in order to automatically start-up. The programs's main executable is procexp.exe and has been seen to consume an average CPU of less than one percent, and utilizes about 20.85 MB of memory. It also includes a system tray icon that is displayed in the notifications area while the program is running. How do I remove Process Explorer?
You can uninstall Process Explorer from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
- On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
- Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall a Program.
- Windows XP: Click Add or Remove Programs.
- When you find the program Process Explorer, click it, and then do one of the following:
