Internet Download Accelerator, often called IDA, is a download manager for Microsoft Windows, created by a Ukrainian software company, WestByte Software. IDA integrates with Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome, Apple Safari and all web browsers that are built based on these, such as Maxthon. Once these browsers started a download, IDA takes over. It can also take over the download of streaming video from websites like Youtube. It adds registry entry for the current user which will allow the program to automatically start each time it is rebooted. The program adds a toolbar to Microsoft Internet Explorer. The primary executable is named ida.exe. A majority of users end up uninstalling this less than a week of it being installed. How do I remove Internet Download Accelerator?

- When the "Show Home button" checkbox is selected, a web address appears below it. If you want the Homepage button to open up a different webpage, click Change to enter a link.
- Restart Google Chrome.
