An Opera Widget is a small stand-alone application that runs on the desktop in the context of the Opera web browser.

Icon Creator is a program developed by Opera Widgets. Upon installation, it defines an auto-start registry entry which allows the program run on each boot for the user which installed it. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The main program executable is Icon Creator.exe. The software installer includes 2 files and is usually about 1.57 MB (1,642,631 bytes). In comparison to the total number of users, most PCs are running the OS Windows 7 (SP1) as well as Windows 10.
