Glowfish
What is Glowfish?
Glowfish is a casual game distributed through the MumboJumbo.com online portal and powered by iPlay. The free-to-try game uses an installer that bundles the GameBar toolbar, a web browser toolbar that modifies the user's search and home settings.
Overview
During setup, the program creates a startup registration point in Windows in order to automatically start when any user boots the PC. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The primary executable is named Glowfish.exe. The setup package generally installs about 42 files and is usually about 203.9 MB (213,805,494 bytes).
Glowfish has been seen bundling various 3rd party software during the installation process. Make sure to check for and remove unused programs.
