Get It Free
What is Get It Free?
Get It Free from 215 Apps (Amazing Apps/50onRed) installs a web browser extension (Internet Explorer Browser Helper Object) to view web pages loaded and looks for affiliated merchants in order to possibly provide better pricing or alternative deals on a given product or merchant. Basically if Get It Free has a pre-arranged affiliate relationship with a similar merchant it will alert you when you visit through your web browser. Get It Free is a ad supported product and will show you advertisements as you browse the web. When you install the plug-in, it also has a background process that will attempt to disabled other 'conflicting' extensions that might interfere with it, this includes other competing products as well as some security products (in the software's EULA, you actually agreed to this) "By installing the Plugin, you consent to the Plugin in disabling other conflicting software and we understand you have chosen to use our software to customize your social media pages over other available software packages". Warning, this program is very aggressive adware. Not only does it hijack the user's browser and settings, it hijacks visited web sites by injecting its own advertising over the web sites ads including Adsense. The software is built on the CrossRider cross-web browser application platform used to develope and distributed monitized browser extensions that inject coupon and price comparison ads.
