Borealis

Overview

Borealis is a software program developed by Conrad Nelson. It adds registry entry for the current user which will allow the program to automatically start each time it is rebooted. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The setup package generally installs about 44 files and is usually about 750.09 KB (768,089 bytes). Relative to the overall usage of users who have this installed on their PCs, most are running Windows 10 and Windows 7 (SP1). While about 61% of users of Borealis come from the United States, it is also popular in France and Czech Republic.
