What is Autodesk DirectConnect 2010?
Autodesk DirectConnect is a family of data translators. Each of these translators imports a specific CAD file format into one or more Autodesk products. A wide range of file formats is supported; for certain of these you must have the CAD product also installed for it to work. The data is imported as native solids Body objects that can be interactively retesselated as needed. Users of 3ds Max Design 2013 can refine the data until they get the precision they need in their renderings.

How do I remove Autodesk DirectConnect 2010?
You can uninstall Autodesk DirectConnect 2010 from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
- On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
- Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall a Program.
- Windows XP: Click Add or Remove Programs.
- When you find the program Autodesk DirectConnect 2010, click it, and then do one of the following:
- Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall.
- Windows XP: Click the Remove or Change/Remove tab (to the right of the program).
- Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove Autodesk DirectConnect 2010.
