Overview

The most used version is 2.0.0.134601, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. Upon installation and setup, it defines an auto-start registry entry which makes this program run on each Windows boot for all user logins. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). When installed, it will add a context menu handler to the Windows shell in order to provide quick access to the program. The main program executable is jzip.exe. How do I remove jZip?

There is really nothing wrong with it. If you uncheck the additional stuff during the install process.. that's it. Works perfectly.

Actually jZip only installs third party software if you accept it to, you can just install the zip program and thats it.

I have used it for years. It´s free and works well. I do not see any third party activity going on with it. I mean none! It works great for me and I will not remove it and install something like WinZip that I have to pay for.
