Overview

F-Secure is a program developed by F-Secure. The most used version is 1.99.192.0, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. It adds a background controller service that is set to automatically run. Delaying the start of this service is possible through the service manager. The programs's main executable is fshoster32.exe and has been seen to consume an average CPU of less than one percent, and utilizes about 27.02 MB of memory. It also adds an icon to the Windows notifications area in order to provide access to the program. The software installer includes 63 files and is usually about 21.88 MB (22,947,869 bytes). In comparison to the total number of users, most PCs are running the OS Windows 10 as well as Windows 7 (SP1). While about 21% of users of F-Secure come from Finland, it is also popular in United Kingdom and Germany.
