What is Nero 9?

Nero Multimedia Suite is a popular software suite for Microsoft Windows by Nero AG. Nero includes Nero Burning ROM, Nero Express, Nero DiscSpeed, Nero Video, Nero Recode, Nero BackItUp, Nero Wave Editor and various other disk authoring, video authoring and data backup untiliies as well as audio editing tools. Overview

During setup, the program registers itself to launch on boot through a Windows Schedule Task in order to automatically start-up. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The main program executable is ncc.exe. The software installer includes 7 files and is usually about 9.96 MB (10,442,741 bytes).
