The most used version is 6.13.13771, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. It adds a background controller service that is set to automatically run. Delaying the start of this service is possible through the service manager. It adds a Browser Helper Object (BHO) to Internet Explorer. When installed, it will add a context menu handler to the Windows shell in order to provide quick access to the program. The main program executable is c2c_service.exe. I've consistently had trouble with this plugin in Chrome--it regularly slows down my browser and sometimes crashes it. I don't use Skype much and I have a great memory for numbers, so I'm happy to be rid of it.

Skype Click to Call used to be known as Skype Web Toolbars. Skype Click to Call is a plug-in that you can easily download and install in your web browser.
