Live! Cam Avatar Creator

What is Live! Cam Avatar Creator?

If you did not purposefully instal this software, the Creative Cam Avatar Creator is typically installed by default with the software package that comes with various Dell monitor models. However, it is not required to be installed in order to use the web cam and is simply an 'extra' piece of functionality to enhance the use of the webcam by allowing the user to add avatar styled items to their video chats. For instance it allows the user to generate an avatar of themselves and style the features of it such as the looks and feel and facial features.

Although many consider this type of software that is pre-installed bloatware, for those that like the feature can safely keep it installed without effecting the performance of the user's PC. On the other hand, removing Live! Cam Avatar Creator is fine as well.

Since I never knew it was there, what makes it so vital? For what purpose does Dell find it necessary to have included it?
