Free Online TV provides users with an easy way to watch free online TV channels. There is no need for TV card or cable connection, Internet connection is required only. Program allows easy management of TV programs, Youtube videos and other useful Internet streams or links.

Free Online TV is a program developed by NETGATE Technologies s.r.o. Upon installation, it defines an auto-start registry entry which allows the program run on each boot for the user which installed it. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The main program executable is freeonlinetv.exe. The software installer includes 2 files and is usually about 78.66 MB (82,485,790 bytes). In comparison to the total number of users, most PCs are running the OS Windows 7 (SP1) as well as Windows 10. While about 68% of users of Free Online TV come from the United States, it is also popular in Czech Republic and United Kingdom.
