Overview
WinRAR archiver is a software program developed by win.rar GmbH. The most common release is 4.20.0, with over 98% of all installations currently using this version. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. When installed, it will add a context menu handler to the Windows shell in order to provide quick access to the program. The primary executable is named winrar.exe. The setup package generally installs about 13 files and is usually about 3.56 MB (3,728,243 bytes). Relative to the overall usage of users who have this installed on their PCs, most are running Windows 7 (SP1) and Windows 7. While about 17% of users of WinRAR archiver come from the United States, it is also popular in India and Iran.

How do I remove WinRAR archiver?
