What is VAIO OOBE?
VAIO OOBE (VAIO Out Of Box Experience) is part of the Welcome Center application that is factory installed on most VAIO laptops. The programs is designed to show new users the tools and functionality that comes pre-installed with the new computer. It also includes offers to several trialware applications. It also sets up the welcome page for when the user first switches on the laptop out of the box and provides the ability to configure things like username and passwords. After running the software the first time, this program can be safely removed from the PC.

How do I remove VAIO OOBE?
You can uninstall VAIO OOBE from your computer by using the Add/Remove Program feature in the Window's Control Panel.
- On the Start menu (for Windows 8, right-click the screen's bottom-left corner), click Control Panel, and then, under Programs, do one of the following:
- Windows Vista/7/8/10: Click Uninstall a Program.

- When you find the program VAIO OOBE, click it, and then do one of the following:

- Follow the prompts. A progress bar shows you how long it will take to remove VAIO OOBE.
