What is The Bureau: XCOM Declassified?
The Bureau: XCOM Declassified is a science fiction video game in the X-COM series set in late 1962, at the height of the Cold War. The Bureau is a third-person shooter with an emphasis on squad-based tactics. The player controls William Carter and commands two additional agents in each mission. Carter has his own unique abilities, but other agents are divided into the Commando, Engineer, Support, and Recon classes.
Overview
During setup, the program creates a startup registration point in Windows in order to automatically start when any user boots the PC. A scheduled task is added to Windows Task Scheduler in order to launch the program at various scheduled times (the schedule varies depending on the version). The software is designed to connect to the Internet and adds a Windows Firewall exception in order to do so without being interfered with. The primary executable is named CleanUp.exe. The setup package generally installs about 81 files and is usually about 11.33 MB (11,883,112 bytes). The installed file SteamAPIUpdater.dll is the auto-update component of the program which is designed to check for software updates and notify and apply them when new versions are discovered.
